I completed today’s 6.0km run at 4.48min/km, the fastest pace I have achieved in a while for a run of this length.

Personal bests achieved today:

  • Fastest 5km time: 23.52
  • Best estimated 1km effort: 4.22

The run felt pretty hard, especially because I was following a better runner than me, and he set the pace fast from the beginning. I would have preferred to ease into the run and finish stronger than I started. I think I could have achieved a quicker time if my pacing was better.

I’ll keep monitoring my progress as I keep training and improving.
