The only way to run faster is to… run faster!
That basically is another way of saying that interval training is vital for improving speed while running.
Workouts each week should be majority easy with a few hard.
Today’s workout was 10 intervals of 1 minute each at a hard pace. Each interval is followed by one minute rest and the whole workout is started and ended with an easy warm up / warm down.
I’ll be running at least one interval session a week as I continue to improve my fitness.
Food: muesli, seafood tofu hotpot, spag bol, wine
Workout: 6km run
