I don’t agree with the wording here. But I agree with the sentiment.

A perspective that is different to our own should not be silenced just because it is different.

In fact, if somebody has an alternate view, then we should listen with an open mind, because we might learn something new.

Strong opinions, weakly held. Create an environment where the exchange of alternate views is safe and welcomed.
